Project Description

The investigator collected the majority of the Cookie Theft picture descriptions from participants in local senior and memory care facilities. He worked with the executive directors of the centers to get a list of willing participants, their basic demographic information, and the diagnoses on file provided by the head of nursing staff. In other instances, he contacted individuals within his community directly. In those cases, the family provided the diagnosis.

The transcripts include age, sex, and diagnosis (dementia, Alzheimer's disease, MCI, vascular dementia, control).
